Hip Hip Hurrah!

Yesterday there was a staff meeting. We all trooped down to the first floor to find the principal, two vice principals and #3 (I don’t know her job, everyone simply refers to her as #3) dressed in their very best.  We sat down, and I settled in for a long nap.

Suddenly, in walked the custodian/groundskeeper looking incredibly dapper.  Everyone leapt to their feet, cheering and clapping wildly.  Bemused, I joined in.

Beaming, the principal read a very official looking document to the cheering masses, and then pinned a shiny gold medal on the custodian’s chest.

And then we all returned to our staffrooms.

Oh Korea, so full of mystery and randomness.  Thank you for making every day an adventure.
